Biography

Matt Obee is a 23 year old Web designer specialising in UX and Accessibility. During the day, he is the QA department at digital design agency Red Ant in Maidstone. He changes into his freelance design and writing pants when the sun drops below the yardarm.

  • Pownce, having been acquired by Six Apart, is calling it a day on 15th December. I have an account but I can't say I ever use it - all it does is repeat my tweets and RSS activity.

  • The Microformats Wiki has received a large upgrade (MediaWiki version 1.4 to 1.13.2) and redesign based on Dan Cederholm's original microformats.org design. A full list of changes is available. A job well done I'd say.

  • WCAG 2 has progressed to proposed recommendation status, having been successfully implemented by real people in real projects. It's possible that the guidelines will officially take over from WCAG 1 by Christmas.
