PlusNet Minus Email

Sheffield-based ISP nukes customers' email. Again.

As a PlusNet customer, I once-again stand reminded of why I don’t use their email service.  They have somehow managed to cock-up the installation of an anti-spam appliance, deleting around 10 per cent of the mail queue.

This is just the latest in a line of impressive email-related blunders, including the case in July 2006 when a few hundred gigabytes of customers’ email was deleted by an engineer who typed in the wrong window.
