New Last.fm
During eight weeks of beta testing, the Last.fm team received 13,234 individual pieces of beta toolbar feedback and 7,856 forum posts from subscribers.
We've been listening hard, trying out new ideas, and making tons of changes in response to your feedback. Today we've taken the next step in this process, bringing the new Last.fm to everyone.
There were quickly a further 2,000 comments in response to the announcement when the changes went live a couple of weeks ago, many of them not positive. I'm reserving judgement for the moment but I'm certainly not one of the mob currently stomping around in a tantrum demanding a return to the old version (as good as it was).
New Facebook
No doubt another redesign that's likely to be controversial.
The new profile has finally arrived. To access it, please go to http://www.new.facebook.com. On the top of the screen, you will see the option to send feedback as well as switch between the new version and the old version. Over the next few weeks, as the trial version winds down, we'll be opting everyone into the new Facebook.
